Mark Your Calendars!
Eleventh Annual Granite State Human Resources Conference
Tuesday May 12th 7am to 4:15pm Networking Reception 4:15pm – 5:30pm
The Expo at the Radisson Manchester

Optimism is a successful business strategy even in these economic times! A must see and hear, Bert Jacobs, is the CEO (Chief Executive Optimist) of Life is Good, a "lifestyle brand of happy-looking clothing and accessories" that employs over 150 in Hudson, NH and another 15 happy folks in Boston. Learn how one man's contagious grin turned a two person door-to-door T-shirt operation into a successful business that stays true to its brand -- by mixing high energy with positive impact!

Optimism Can Take You Anywhere

Chief Executive Optimist Bert Jacobs focuses his energy on where the
brand is going next. He has defined branding as "knowing who you are and
acting like it" and ensures that every aspect of the business and all
business decisions made by company leaders are driven by clarity around
the brand and its values. Innovative initiatives, such as the national
expansion of Life Is Good Festivals and the company's Genuine
Neighborhood Shoppes program keep the Life is good brand fresh and
growing. Jacobs is a much sought-after speaker whose lessons on branding
are applicable to organizations of all sizes.

Changes to GSHRC's 2009 Human Capital Summit

After long deliberation, the board of the Granite State Human Resource Conference has decided make the 2009 Human Capital Summit a one day event, keeping with a similar format that the cofnerence has been successful with for the past decade.

That being said, this year's conference won't be the same old thing as we strive to provide HR professionals an increasingly valuable professional development conference!

BIG NEWS COMING SOON!
